I'm a big mech nerd... and another unfinished work from over a year ago. I know there are errors... but it's 99% free handed other then the little hexagon missile tubes which one was drawn free handed and duplicated over and over again
Yeah, the destinations are kind of horrible... like CPLT-A1, CPLT-C1, CPLT-C4, CPLT-K2... just random numbers and letters and makes even less sense when you find out the make order of year each was built in also follows no real logic^^

I can agree with you on how crazy the designators can be. But I was mostly referencing how Phelan Kell's targetting computer when ape-chips when he first ran into one and couldnt decide if it was a Marauder or a Catapult, leading to the reporting name 'Mad-Cat'.

The Madcat is iconic throughout the battletech fandom. It's the first one that comes in my mind. When I was little, I drew one with LRMs in the arms too. and on top of the torso and on the hips ...and on the upper legs. Have some nostalgic stuff

Based off the MechWarrior 4 version, I see. I've always loved the Mad Cat. It, along with the Warhammer have an aesthetic that defines Battletech, with very inhuman Mechs compared to anime mecha (very ironic if you know your Battletech history).
