Character Description
Champ is the Barlow Family's pet and a companion for their son Timothy. He operates on artificial intelligence on a level that can fool people into believing he's alive but after knowing him longer becomes obvious that he's certainly not on the same level. He can be very lovable and he's always enthusiastic but his inability to understand some pretty basic concepts and lack of being anything but happy can seriously grind people up the wall sometimes. He's very close to the Barlow family and that can be a pretty annoying trait when trying to complete certain missions. Having an eternally loyal set of eyes and ears hanging around the Barlows can be dangerous especially since he often doesn't relay what happened with quite the same understanding as a person should.

Personality
Champ is a living doll but despite the name has no soul and instead has artificial intelligence. Because of this his understanding of the world around him and the people in it can be rather misinformed or naive. However, through it all his boundless and often unrealistic enthusiasm and love for his friends is endearing. His lovable stupidity can be rather heartwarming or infuriating at times and so can his inability to see the darker side of things. However, he will protect his friends no matter what it takes and that can never be seen as a bad trait.

Background/History
Champ was bought by the Barlow Family as a family pet and a companion for their son Timothy. He's lived with the family a few years now and has grown very attached to all of them. One day him and Timothy ran away together into North Diegol Forest where they found a mass of glowing blue mushrooms and decided to eat them. They eventually returned home but the insides of Champ and Timothy were stained blue as well as the whites of their eyes, Champ's cotton paw pads and thinner parts of Timothy's skin. The dye eventually wore off on Timothy except for the inside of his digestive tract but Champ was permanently stained and now his eyes, paws and mouth glow in the dark.
Relatives/Family
The Barlow's are his owners and, as he sees it, his family. Champ is also Timothy's guardian when the parents aren't around and is sworn to protect him. His loyalty to the Barlows is unshakable if a bit naive and during certain missions in the game can make things very difficult for you.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
Champ has a rather short mussel, small round ears and a short roundish tail. He walks on all fours and his body shape is horse-like though he's meant to be a bear. He has thick cylindrical limbs which stop abruptly into pads at the end rather than having feet. Champ's body is filled with cotton wool and he has cotton paw pads and the whites of his eyes are also cotton with brown plastic iris and grey plastic fake claws. The rest of his outer coating is made of a plastic rubber that's flexible, durable and flame retardant. He's mostly brown in color with a pale brown accent on his mussel, inside his ears, on his chest and originally on the inside of his mouth. However after consuming some blue glowing mushrooms the whites of his eyes which are made of cotton, his cotton stuffing and his cotton paw pads have all been stained blue as well as the inside of his mouth. Now they can glow in the dark.
Clothing
Champ wears a tight orange T-shirt and tight orange shorts combo. They aren't meant to be that tight but they shrank when Champ was put through the wash while trying to remove his blue stained pigment.
Accessories
Sometimes Champ carries a rucksack full of useful things for Timothy though since Tim can carry his own rucksack it's normally reserved for picnics.
