My sixth commissioned work is complete and I like to think it’s one of my best yet; this is Kaylaa Oveil, an arctic wolf of her people’s military--officially as a medic, but also packing a perilous reputation for arm wrestling excellence. Kaylaa is an OC of Droc Guidera and was a lot of fun to work on.
I experimented with more new blending and shading techniques on this, incorporating varying palette and starker values; with the texturing I mingled a few different brushes at various opacities and pushed to try out some new softer highlighting. Overall I’m very pleased with the results and hope that Droc enjoys the handiwork as well!
Altogether this took about six hours to complete give or take a bit; I spent a lot of time trying to really nail the clothing this time.
