Commonly known in Hindi as "Ichchhadhari" snakes. Such snakes can take the form of any living creature, but prefer human form. These mythical snakes possess a valuable gem called "Mani", which is more brilliant than diamond. There are many stories in India about greedy people trying to possess this gem and ending up getting killed.
I know some people prefer lizards/dragons/snakes/other reptiles without hair but hair was added to these for artistic freedom. That and hair can help differentiate and tell a bit about a person. :)
These guys are ready to slither out and hypnotize men and women alike, albeit with a more 'male' touch compared to their serpentine siren sisters. Some have hopes for world domination, others wish to be waited on hand and tail by mindless and obedient servants and guards... others wish for more materialistic and carnal things such as pleasure.
