Nightshade had successfully stolen the Eternal Dark Source, and he then traveled his uncle Akura's lair in the Dark Realm with his fellow Doom Raiders, and is giving it to him in order to have his dark powers back *Lord Akura lost them when the Core of Light was destroyed in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, cutting off the Light and Dark Realms from Skylands while Akura was stranded in the Dark Realm*. Now it's up to the Skylanders to stop him before it's too late!
