After all these years I have a picture reference for my character!
This is Draconuous. Everyone calls him Drac though, which he much prefers since he feels him full name has too many syllables.
He's a 6'1 Male Tiger, orange and white stripes, black fur underside running from chin to tail. 220 pounds, muscular build (he has a regimen of 200 sit ups, 100 push ups, 200 squats, and 100 bicep curls that he performs each week). He has a scar on the left of his neck, just above the collar bone, running to the middle of his neck down to the top of his chest the result of both serious injury as well as serious illness from cancer. He's self conscious about the scar, especially since its usually the first thing people see when they meet him. Despite this he's made it a point to display it as a badge of honor and not cover it up. A reminder that he's a survivor and a fighter through things that have claimed the lives of so many others.
Drac is a happy individual and likes to make others happy despite being shy and socially awkward and doesn't do well in big crowds, something he attributes to his recent diagnosis of having HFA (high functioning autism). He displays great memory, often able to quote books and movies almost verbatim after seeing or reading them only once and the ability to recall exact dates perfectly. But when it comes to talking to people, whether family, friends or strangers, he often draws a complete blank and finds he can't relate, leading to him saying things that may make him appear aloof, out of touch, or even uncaring, which is the exact opposite of how he wants to come across. As such he's a quiet guy who lets others do the talking and carefully chooses his words. If there's even the slightest worry that he might be misinterpreted, he'll stay silent. Still, people who get to know him love his sense of humor and quick wit as he's able to inject clever humor into conversation whether it be through play on words, puns, pop culture references or knowledge of people's character. Once people discover this about him, they tend to invite him to small get-togethers and parties so they can enjoy this humor of his while watching movies or playing video games. Some have even come to refer to him as their personal professional Riff artist ala MST3K. He's proud of the comparison, and uses the opportunities to get to know new people and reach outside his comfort zone.
In his spare time, Drac enjoys playing video games, reading, writing, going to movies, taking walks while listening to music, getting lost in his own imagination, brain teasers, anime, manga, and research. His favorite types of video games are the action adventure type, the Legend of Zelda series being his favorite, but also enjoy platformers, horror, classic rpg's, puzzles, and to a certain degree, first person shooters. His reading and writing usually falls in the categories of mystery and horror, especially psychological mysteries and horror. When he was young he was huge into fantasy and sci fi stories but has since lost interest. His music interests differs from most people around him, preferring to listen to orchestrated classical and video game music. You'll find him listening to classical composers and the likes of John Williams, Koji Kondo, and the early works of Nobuo Uematsu rather than any popular artists of the day. As far as anime and manga go, his tastes are similar to his reading and writing preferences, enjoying psychological horror and mystery, but he does enjoy some of the comedies and action series as well. Some of his favorites are MPD Psycho, Serial Experiments: Lain, Kusoragi Corpse Delivery Service, Betterman, Death Note, Ghost in the Shell, Paprika, Paranormal Agent, Boogiepop Phantom, The Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga and FLCL.
Drac is a straight guy and has often felt down about his inability to find a mate or even a steady girlfriend. He hopes that the therapy and treatment he's receiving for his newly discovered diagnosis will help things change. He likes women of all shapes and sizes, but has a special liking for big dominant women, both those that are tall, strong and muscular, and Big Beautiful Women (BBW), something he attributes to women he's seen in tv and movies. (He'd never admit it, but he has a secret fantasy of having a threesome with the Mare Applejack and the hippo Gloria, but you didn't hear that from me!)
Feel free to say hi to him! He's trying to get to know more people and become more sociable as part of his therapy. He might say things that don't make sense or seem strange, but just know he's a good guy who's trying his very best.
