Someone at Tumblr showed me how I could show characters like an anime style.
I really like it how it turned out~ I should continue experimenting with this since I want to do
something special with these.

When I had an Apple ][c+ desk computer -up to 1998 when it bummed out for good - I had basic commands like POKE and PEEK (POKE enters a value in a Ram byte, and PEEK looks it up and reports the value). If you knew thatm then I apologize.

Wow! I didn't know that. Oh man I can't believe there's commands named like that before. That's waaaay better than just INSERT or POS nowadays. It makes it work look less serious and makes conversations sound less geeky like "Let's just POKE a value of 9" or something like that.

I'll be honest, I made a script called "meow()" where it just shows a dialog box with the word "Meow!" on it for debugging purposes. "Let me tell ya! It meows when it does something wrong."

Yes, my old Apple ran in BASIC, and both versions (integer and Applesoft) had POKE and PEEK commands. It was an interpreter language,so it was slow. Before the machine bummed out for good one afternoon, I had nearly mastered machine code and had hand-compiled many programs. The stores would no longer fix the Apples, so ...

I graduated to a desktiop and about 7-8 years ago, moved to laptops.I, still, never forgave Bill Gates for abandoning the Apples -and its users. I wish him the direst misfortune and suffering. I understood Basic and machine code, BUT I never had any idea of what language my laptop runs in !

After my Apple ][c+ quit on me, I was unable to do any further work on the games I wrote, and by & by ,my memeory of how to play them grew fuzzy. THANK YOU, BILL GATES !!
