This character showed up in my dreams two weeks before Katie broke up with me, then appeared again on the night of the breakup and a few times since. I...have only the remotest internal glimmer of hope that she might be something more than just a coping mechanism my subconscious mind cobbled together out of things I like.

The blue stripes showed up on her back at the same time I added them to my own fursona.
