I finally got around to scanning all my notebook sketches from the last few months! I try to draw at least one thing every day, so this is actually spread across three different notebooks...

Drawn mostly with mechanical pencils - 1.3mm 4H, .5mm 4H, .5mm HB, .3mm HB, and occasionally .5mm 2B leads.

That feel when you end up doodling something nice... then realize you did it on lined paper. There are probably a bunch of sketches like this that I never even thought about scanning/uploading because the lines seemed a little too distracting, but maybe it's just me xD I enjoy seeing all your little sketches of your characters, they're so adorable haha <3

It's funny, actually - I'm only using lined paper because I absolutely adore the feel and weight that these particular notebooks have! I've purchased a number of different sketchbooks, but these little notepads from the 100-yen store have a really awesome texture to 'em.

Although I'm not consciously thinking about it, the lines might be helping me stay mindful of alignment and scale. I remember I used to have a real problem with keeping the head lined up properly with the torso! Maybe practice and lined paper helped me fix that.

And I'm glad you like! I definitely enjoy sketching them whenever I have the chance :3
