I've been getting into watching Salty Bets alot over the last month or two again, as it's a fun way to have something off screen to entertain me as I work. They have alot of "Waifu" characters on there and the idea of making my own was amusing to me. SO I started to! Commissions and me nitpicking caused me to spend the whole month picking at this on occasion, with me only finishing the entire thing an hour or so ago. Loren as such exists simply because I wanted to try and create a young-esque character that a viewer might "Love" just from her design alone.

I REALLY like her though! name is Loren [duh]. The sword originally started as Raze-Lighter from Destiny but as i started taking the character further away from a menacing Cliche idea and more my own I bent it more into something a tad more unique. Probably one of the rare times i've used multiple shadow layers [though where I did can be a tad hard to see since I barely did] but it was a good step towards me doing so more frequently. As I mentioned as well, while this did take me far too long to finish the extra time picking at it did allow me to properly get Proportions more aligned between the image pair. They were originally far off in comparison.

Would I draw Loren again? Probably. Anytime soon? can't really say.
