I have the 1st and 2nd edition (and 2nd edition revised) books but have never gotten a chance to use them. I'm guessing you're talking about the supplement Cute and Fuzzy Cockfighting Seizure Monsters? Got it!

Isn't the 3rd edition by White Wolf? I remember seeing it one of their catalogs. Does it still use the Tri-Stat and 2d6 system?

BTW most of the time I use Metamorph a lot, for some reason I'm partial to playing shapeshifting human/animal hybrids. ;p

Having never gotten to play it, I dunno for sure if it's fun, but then the best set of rules you could imagine can't make up for a horrible GM while a truly epic GM can potentially* make even the worst rules fun. The first edition was really simple and thus really fast, designed under a rather minimalist approach much like Teenagers From Outer Space to be able to quickly produce anime-style characters. Second Edition compiled many of the extra rules of 1st edition genre supplements like Hot Rods & Gun Bunnies into the main book and added optional skills. Second Edition Revised was almost unchanged for the rules aside from applying some corrections from their errata, and it left out the nice, full color, glossy pages in favor of giving you a set of concise rules in a less thick, less expensive yet still attractive book.

*I've never played FATAL or World of Synnibarr, so I've never put this to the test, but I can extrapolate.
