Something on the back-burner that I've been sitting on a long time, that Regebeast drew... ages ago.

Sort-Of "Long" Version: This is Faraa, a genetic experiment. The general, vague idea is that some big evil corporation decided to try and corner the market early on genetic experimentation, particularly in cross-class manipulation. Many failed experiments and several broken laws and ethical standards later, crossing major serval DNA with minors of skunk and falcon lead to a stable crossbreed, with only small variance in certain unimportant genes such as color (which may have lead to "designer" breeds if given time, unique colorations). Thus, the Skervon was born.

Due to SCIENCE they're comfortable on both two and four legs. While a few were designed specifically with well above average intelligence for testing purposes, the grand majority are smarter than the average bear when compared to animals, but below average when compared to the "superior species". These "standard models" can talk, but get confused easily. They also can be moody, excitable and playful sometimes and lethargic others, and rarely if ever hostile. The exception to that last trait is only found when the person or persons they've bonded with are threatened in some way, as they tend to be rather loyal. The species was intended to be marketed to families as companions and guardian beasts, more than a pet but just as loveable (and if anything easier to take care of, as they do that themselves), but the project was caught up in mass amounts of red tape after only a few were produced.

TLDR: It was all SCIENCE!!

Features: Feline base figure, skunk represented in the tail build (no scent glands), falcon represented in the feather plume/mane as well as the front legs. Front hand-paws dexterous enough to grip objects.

Rege had one of her own, an albino I believe, but it never really got past a recolor of this picture, and I think is lost to the intarwebz at this point.

Shani, the other person I stalk, actually did almost finish one but got stuck on the clothes. It can be seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/917435/

A full character sheet, or possibly a species description sheet depending on what I can arrange, may be in the future. I've been attached to the idea for a long time and I think it's time I do something about it!
