Ohhhhh you lucky Fox. I'd love a 7D. I'm dealing with a shady little EOS Rebel T2i with a 18-55mm or 70-300 Tele until graduation. And the best I've shot is a 5D Mark III I rent every now and then with a 24-70MM

Hehe, well the Rebel T2i I think will be able to do the job until whenever you move up. Had a buddy that made his studen short film with either the T2i or T3i. But it was a very pretty film. Just goes to show, it's not just the equipment but the person using it that can do great stuff. ^^ Though I know pictures and video are quite different in their aesthetic and approach but I'm sure you can do well with it. :D The 5dMiii is pretty nice. Especially for photography. ^^

Very true :) It's funny I was just thinking of this conversation cause I tried out a 7D in Costco, and was rather impressed. My goal for graduation is to save for a 5DMiii cause I am rather happy with when I have used that, especially with the battery pack that has the vertical shutter release.
I fully agree, it's the artist not the camera. But that doesn't mean the artist wouldn't mind a better camera later on xP

Ooo, yeah that sounds quite nice. I'm pretty happy with the couple cameras I use mostly atm. Though that doesn't mean I'm not looking at better options already haha. Looking at the Red Scarlet-W, and heed, that would just get me a lot more work and would awesome to shoot with for so many reasons apart from just having the connections and versatility/flexibility on set and in post. But that's for me is what the artists would't mind having later on. XD
We'll get there eventually eh? Hope you are able to save up for the 5DMiii. :D

Not too know how on video cameras but those do look rather awesome. What do you for work if you don't mind me asking? I intend to do a lot of event and nightclub stuff, as well as travel when I get out of college, and already do some local nightclubs, and events, nothing paid just yet though; Am trying though!. Aye we will get there sooner than later, thank you! And I hope you get what you're looking for as well!
Omg I just had an awesome visual of Ignis and Echan nerding out over cameras xD I haven't seen a lot of professional filmer and photography furs (I may just not be looking hard enough xP)
Maybe an idea for an FA Group! :0

I usually work as either a director of photography and/or camera operator and colorist. I do editing and such as well but those three are what I mainly do. I work on various projects, from like short films, music videos, done some kick starters, weddings, some corporate work, realty work. Live music performances. You know, whatever I can get really or whatever pays the bills haha. XD Thanks though for the kind words! I hope you get some paid gigs eventually. But hey, more to add to your portfolio.
Hehe, that could be a cute picture or something. ^^ We are out there. Just not really a lot of us I suppose? I know of one in town here that I need to connect with, but there are some. I think the most prolific ones are usually the YouTube furry filmmakers/bloggers and such. Fur folk who mainly make fur related content.
I'm sure there's some sort of group, but there should be one if there isn't. ^^

Whatever pays the bills indeed, the motto of a film maker and photographer xP Would love to see some of your work, but maybe switch over to PM xP so we don't flood your poor comment section on this photo more than we have. I would very much so be interested in talking more with you about this.
