Now this is a funny occurrence. My beloved friend that goes by the name of The_Secret_Cave has recently told me about the origins of his name. It's...way better than my chosen name, and quite smart too! And no, it has nothing to do with the den in that picture. Or well, maybe it does, but not in the way everyone is going to think of!
Anyways, to celebrate our friendship, I decided to commission a very cute piece that depicts our two fursonas sharing a tender moment. What's cuter than a kitty on his back, and a fluffy drake petting said cat? The artist also did a fantastic job on the faces of the characters. The eyes stand out in particular, being very expressive, showing just how at ease my cat is in the drake's warm embrace. At first, I wanted to go with kitty hugs, but this pose seemed more original. It also features a high-five of sorts!
The background also turned out great. Adding that den was a must, for it symbolizes the secrecy behind my friend's name. Sure, it may not be as secret as before, but none of you truly knows what happens inside the cave! So, in a way, the mystery lives on, and for the time being, the secret cave remains somewhat secret!
I feel privileged to be the friend of such amazing and positive drake. No matter how gloomy life gets at times, a chat with him is the perfect cure to banish the clouds and restore confidence into the scrawny kitty. Keep being the way you are, my dear fluffy ^^
