Last year, their theme was a dystopian "Big Brother" society, a trope which often has some form of uniformed enforcers who silence any speech or demonstrations which dissent against the ruling power.
Their enforcers were referred to as "Hushpuppies," playing on their role as silencers of dissent, being furries, as well as the term also referring to a common tasty food.
The poster linked in the description was one of many playful propoganda posters plastered all over the con spaces.
Over the course of the weekend, these of course began to get vandalized, but then it became apparent the con staff themselves were doing or encouraging it, as by the time the con had wrapped up, the "resistance" had toppled the oppressive regime, and forced the Supreme Ruler, Biggest Little Brother, into exile.
They're carrying this theme into this year's con as well, which is just brilliant and so much fun.
