I know Christmas is done, but I got a comment to the earlier pic on a different site that suggested that Dottie could slip on the rooftop snow and put her burning butt back in the chimney. And so the story continues:
Bugs Bunny ran in the front door, footpaws wet with snow. The living room was filling with dark, acrid smoke. "What is going on out there?" cried Lola. "That dotty coyote got her butt stuck in the chimney!" "That's just great!" growled Lola. "She'll smoke us right out of our home!" Bugs looked at the smoke that was billowing out from the fireplace. "Maybe if we put out the fire…" "You don't know the damage smoke can do!" Lola fretted. "This will ruin all my clothes. My whole wardrobe!" Bugs' eyes became saucer-wide at the thought. "This is serious! What do we do?!" Lola smiled darkly. "Wait here. I've got this!" She ran off to the utility room, her bunny buns jiggling gleefully. What's she up to? thought Bugs. He could hear Dottie's struggles through the chimney and thought about her being stuck up there, her own jiggling rump afire, and recalled the Christmas spoof when the same thing had happened to him. He chuckled at the thought—a burning butt was always great fun, even when he was on the receiving end. And Lola plainly loved to set Dottie's foxy rear end on fire. When she returned with an oversize Fourth of July rocket, Bugs was duly impressed. "Wow!" he gasped. "Been saving that for a special occasion?" Lola smiled. "You've heard of Christmas in July. Well, this is the opposite." "You know, you two ought to be better friends." Lola placed the rocket inside the fireplace. "Don't talk like that. We're friends. We're friends the same as you and Wile." Bugs sighed. "I know. My point exactly." "Stand by," Lola said. "We're about ready." She looked back at her boyfriend and giggled slyly. "And it looks like there's another rocket that's ready for launch." Bugs smiled. "It's da suspense that gets me." Suddenly, Lola yelped in delight. "We're lit! Hit the dirt!" The two bunnies took cover behind the couch and covered their long, fuzzy ears. Bugs looked admiringly at his sweetie, and wished they had a camera set up to record the moment. Lola shut her eyes and wiggled her rump, happily anticipating what was about to happen to her rival. And then, there was a violent "whoooosh!" "Fire in the hole!" cried Lola. And the rocket made a beeline for Dottie's captive, helpless, flaming fanny.
