I had a friend who their sister got a new car for Christmas one year, where she got like, a book about Europe... I think it was a book. It was something to do with travel... She was kinda like "uhmmmm... hello?" So her parents were like "well we know you've always wanted to go on a trip through Europe for a year.." So she's like.. "oh, wow, you're letting me go to Europe?!" and they're like "Pfft, hell no. Do you have any idea how expensive that would be? Besides, we just bought your sister a new car! Money doesn't just grow on trees you know!"....She gave it the rest of the visit to see if it was all some kind of practical joke...It wasn't...
Apparently every year since there's an annual discussion about "needing to let go of the past, and forgiving and forgetting.." The fact that she still talks about it over a decade later kinda implies she won't be doing either...Can't really blame her.. Apparently there's a trend of this sort of thing...
Anyway, sorry for rambling, picture just made me think of it..
