He's got the right idea. Pottys are no fun. You can't carry it with you very easily, and it won't keep your bottom warm. ;3

Always good to learn a new skill, but hell yeah I'd let the kiddo wear diapers as long as he wants. Changings are still fun when they're older.

Heh heh, I wear diapers all the time. I've been told the potty is ebil and diapers are good.
