I WAS waiting for a third season of STITCH & LILO or whatever the title is. Instead ABC cancelled the series. They never showed two of the feature films (one set up the premise of the TV series, when all those pods got dumped all over Hawaii). The third film, which wrapped up the series, was also never shown. I finally bought the DVD.
Fan-ficts had a field day with the unidentified experiment pods (adding one which was a homicidal maniac who could create weapons to butcher ANYBODY he met. Gantu was his first victim, and he even killed babies).
