Now i would suggest avoiding the plastic bags... not because of the choking problems but because they don't really make for good face drawing.
An alternative would be a blankie.... you could use it to hide your face/emotions. It will also usually be soft and warm and might help put you to sleep and might make you feel better. If not sleeping will help pass time.
