*rubs more and raises one hand to scratch behind your ears* I'm glad you're feeling emotionally better. Being sick sucks though. What do you have? Cold? Flu? Sore throat?

*mms and purrrs more* yeah, still a little rough, but not nearly as bad. he was such a good friend. And yes it does. About two yeard ago I caught a viral sinus infection that likes to randomly flare up on me. especially when it's cold, so lots of sinus pressure and pain from it
*mms and purrrs more* yeah, still a little rough, but not nearly as bad. he was such a good friend.
*nods softly and hugs you tight* I can only assume he was. The only time I've lost friends is through slowly drifting away from them, so I can't fully understand your pain and I'm sorry for that. *smiles gently* As for the sinus infection, sweet mother of god that sounds awful. I know this is gonna sound naggy from someone you've only barely spoken with, but have you seen a doctor for it? I know too many people who just let themselves suffer rather than go to the doctor- myself included.
*nods softly and hugs you tight* I can only assume he was. The only time I've lost friends is throu
*purrrs and nods snuggling tight, then smiles* i have, unfortunately there isn't much that can be done about viral sinus infections, as they are a bit different from normal ones. Antibiotics help to a point, unless they are a good one, which I'm trying to get a refill of. But most of the time from what my doctor said, you just have to wait it out. which sucks because I loose sleep from it, and tend to need pain medicine so I can sleep. but he's kinda stingy on that. *mews*
*purrrs and nods snuggling tight, then smiles* i have, unfortunately there isn't much that can be do
*nuzzles by your ear and lightly scratches up and down your back* Damn. So it's a waiting game then. I remember when I got a cold- not that it's the same thing mind you- but all I could do at the time was wait it out and feel like warm zombie the whole time. Now at least I have health insurance. *looks thoughtful* You can try taking melatonin 30 minutes before bed. Since it's a natural chemical your body produces, it isn't harmful or addiction forming. Basically its the chemical that your body releases when you have a good night's rest... so it is a great sleep aid. I believe the brand I use is Natural Nights: Nighttime Sleep Aid. Works like a charm.
*nuzzles by your ear and lightly scratches up and down your back* Damn. So it's a waiting game then
yeah pretty much, which sucks cause it oddly enough lasts longer in the winter. when it's warm, I hardly get it. yeah I have insurance as well. but they are picky about where I go.Hmm yeah my grandma uses melatonin when she can't sleep. I'll have to give it a shot and look into the Natural Nights.
*mms and purrs as you do, relaxing against you* yeah pretty much, which sucks cause it oddly enough
*smiles softly* Sounds like it might be aggravated by humidity too- or the lack thereof- since it seems to last longer during winter where humidity is usually the lowest. That's my understanding of it at least. *shrugs and pets your back more* The packs are a bit expensive but since you only take 1 or 2 tablets a night, they tend to last a while. I bulk buy though, like 3 packs at a time and only use them when I need them, so who knows. *chuckles*
*smiles softly* Sounds like it might be aggravated by humidity too- or the lack thereof- since it se
yeah that could be as well, I've had sinus issues for as long as I remember. my nose has been stuffy for so long, I can't really breath through it. my doctor said I do have a deviated septum. and fixing that would help alot of my sinus issues.
*purrrs as he does* sounds good. and if it works hehe. I will have to try it, thanks for letting me know about it
yeah that could be as well, I've had sinus issues for as long as I remember. my nose has been stuffy
*nods lightly* I see. If that's what the doctor says then I agree. Fixing it should help a lot. *chuckles* I'm not ashamed to admit I had to google 'deviated septum'. I was like... what's Tiber Septum have to do with this? *chuckles again then relaxes and raises a hand to lightly caress your scalp* Do let me know if it works for you! I have hope that it does. Losing out on sleep, especially when you're already not feeling good is like pouring salt on wounds.
*nods lightly* I see. If that's what the doctor says then I agree. Fixing it should help a lot. *c
*smiles and licks your cheek* You're welcome. Hey, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always just a message away. It may take me a bit to reply sometimes but I always do.
