I just want to go on record by saying this: Drawing jungle foliage is just... pure pain.
This was originally conceived as my first attempt at drawing the new Lion Guard characters in anthro form, starting with Tiifu. I opted for the tribal style again, since that's the easiest for me to draw. But beyond that: I'm proud to announce that this is my second collaboration! After going through a lot of drafts on the original sketch for this, I went back to one of my good friends named Quark-Muon to see if he could offer any advice on what to fix. Well, he went above and beyond what I needed and actually drew out the line-art of Tiifu for me, with the corrected anatomy so it would look just right. I was left to color it in, add the background, etc. I can't thank Quarko-Muon enough for what he's done, I really do owe him for this one. I've been working hard to improve my anthro stuff anatomy-wise, and he's been a huge help in pointing me in the right direction. I urge you to check out his profile, he's an amazing artist who deserves more attention. You rock, man!
The background is another story... I had to do that from scratch. If you want to know why this took me four straight days to do, look no further than what lies behind Tiifu. I've never attempted drawing jungle foliage before, so this was my first-ever shot at it. I left no stone unturned in terms of detail, and to be honest, I'm not really sure why. Something just compelled me to get it to look as good as possible. It was exhausting in every way, but for a first attempt, I'd say it looks good. Don't expect me to try it again for a while, though.
