Alvaro is the OC Monkey/Yordle of http://www.furaffinity.net/user/nihilist~mut/ On one of his tumblr posts he was asked a question about "...What abilities would he have and where would he play..." He really couldn't come up with an idea except that Al would be Jungle or Top and a few other ideas on what he could do. So I thought it be fun to put my two cents in and work with what he might like while trying to keep true to Al's personality (from what I've known about him.) Sorry this isn't the top quality like he does but this was just something quick and fun.
Alvaro is a high mobile melee AD Mana using Champ with high adaptability (given enough farm) relying on his passive to power up his W and his other ability to deal damage while constantly moving away from danger while saving his ult for team fights or ganks
Passive: Swashbuckler Alvaro will gain addition armor and magic resist the longer he remains in combat. In addition, for every Neutral monster camp and Minion kill Al makes he gains a certain amount of Silver Serpent Coins in which he may then use to upgrade his W- Blackmarket Toxins.
Q: Free-For-All! This is a three part ability that scales 50/60/75/100(+10% bonus AD) on the first two and 60/90/120/150(+10%AD) on the last part. The first two abilities are Skill shot dashes that passes through all units (can not pass walls) with the final being an empowered basic attack with increased range. (Think Riven and Wukong Qs)
W: Blackmarket Toxins A toggle ability that gives Al's basic attacks poison effect with a slow burn that does damage per second [scales 10/15/20/30(+40% bonus AD) But what makes this ability Al's bread and butter is that he can upgrade to have additional abilities at the shop using his passive Silver Serpents from farming, having up to 3 effects at max level and taking up one item slot. Possible Ability: Each costing 250 Silver serpents Frost Percent Health Damage Life Steal Grievous Wounds Rage (ect.....)
E: Nimble Charge This is Al's Primary escape and mobility ability. It is a charge up dash that gains speed (+25% Movement speed) as he runs and once fully charged Alvaro will Jump either crashing into enemies and knocking them back a short distance [10/10/25/25(+10% bonus AD)] or clearing walls in any direction he chooses. During his Charge Al gets reduced damage from behind (10%/20%/30%/40% max damage). Note Al will not jump if he stops mid way or is interrupted.
R: Primal Surge (Has High cooldown) Alvaro digs deep in his animal instincts forced on him by his curse (Read up his lore) For a short duration, Alvaro will sense incoming damage and take reduced damage (75% of max damage) from anything that would do more damage than 25% of his max health. In addition, Al's Q is put on a much shorter Cooldown
Basic combo Poking : Q-Q-toggle W-Q Going Deep: Q-Q-E for Charge- Toggle W before Jump-Q R if you need to finish Ganking: E for charge- Toggle W before Jump- Q and R to chase
Note Al is NOT a tank, the Damage reduction is only to make sure he doesn't get popped from any hyper carry with high burst (which there are a lot) In Team fights, do not get caught by saving your E to run and take little damage as they chase you when you don't have you Ult to fight.
