“A ladies night out,” said Julie, looking at him. “June thought it was a great idea since we’re getting married tomorrow…..”
William sigh, but then smiled at his mate. “Yeah. Although we’re already mates, we’ll be getting married tomorrow. “
“It feels like a dream,” said Julie. William hugged her while nuzzling affectionately. “But it isn’t a dream. It’s reality,” said William.
They looked at each other and smiled. Soon, they started to lean closer and closer…..
“Hey guys!” said June.
William and Julie stopped and looked at her. “Oh...sorry. Did I interrupt something?” June asked.
Julie started to blush. “Don’t worry about it. It’s fine,” she said, smiling at June. “Yeah. It’s fine,” said William, while rubbing the back of his head in a shy manner. June smiled at them. “Awww. ~ You guys are so cute!” she said, making them blush more.
“Well, Julie, you can have your ladies night out. Go and have fun,” sid William. Julie smiled and hugged him. “Thanks. You have fun, too,” said Julie, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
“Okay. Let’s go!” said June.
*A few hours later~*
“We’re here!” said June. Julie looked and saw that they are outside a dance club. “Wow.I never been here before,” said Julie as music from the inside can be heard. “Me neither, but now we are!” said June. They went inside.
Inside the dance club, there were a lot of people. The furniture looks really nice and matches the “party” theme. There’s a dance floor in the center with a disco ball at the top. There was even a nice bar in a corner of the dance floor.
“Want to sit down?” asked June. “Sure,” said Julie. They went to sit down in an empty yet comfortable couch with a round table in front of it. A waiter came to them and smiled. “Good evening. Are you ladies interested in getting anything to drink?” he asked. Julie looked at him and said,” I’ll have some apple cider,please.” June then said,” I’ll have a fruit cocktail, please.” The waiter bowed to them and left.
Julie looked around. “This place looks so amazing,” she said. June smiled at her and said,“I know, right? I thought you might liked it.” The waiter came to give them their drinks and then bowed and left. “A toast for you and your soon-to-be husband, William. I hope you have a life filled with love and happiness,” said June. Julie smiled and said,” Thanks June. Cheers!” “Cheers!” They clicked their drinks together and took a sip of their drinks. “Wasn’t that good?” asked June. “Yeah,” said Julie.
They chatted for a while until a group of girls approached them. “Hey Julie!” said one of them. Julie looked at them with a confused face. “I’m sorry, but do I know you?” she asked. “You don’t remember us? We had sleepovers as kids,” said the same girl. Julie stared at them for a while and suddenly gasped.
“Stephanie! Rachel! Cassie!”
“Julie!!!”
They shared a huge group hug. Julie sooned introduced June to her childhood friends. June smiled. “It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m June the Hedgehog.” “I’m Stephanie the Hedgehog, but you can call me Steph for short” said Stephanie. “I’m Rachel the Fox,” said Rachel. “I’m Cassie the Cat,” said Cassie.
They all sat down and talked for a while.
“I never knew you were getting married, Julie,” said Cassie. “I know! Why you look so different?” said Stephanie. “Yeah,” said Rachel. Julie explained to them the whole situation and in the end, they all looked surprised.
“Wow. Already found a mate?” said Rachel. Julie nodded. “Is he hot?” asked Stephanie with a tease. Julie blushed. June giggled. “I knew it! I want to meet him!” said Stephanie. Cassie just laughed.
Soon, the DJ turned up the music and everyone started to dance.
“OMG! This is definitely MY jam! Let’s go!” said Stephanie. They all went to the dance floor and danced the night away.
*A few hours later~*
They all exit the dance club. “That was fun,” said June. “Yeah it was!” said Rachel.
Julie looked at her childhood friends. “You girls can come to my wedding tomorrow if you want,” she said. They looked at her and smiled. “Of course we’ll go!”said Stephanie. “We wouldn’t miss it for the world,” said Cassie. “Plus, we want to meet your hot mate,” said Rachel, causing Julie to blush and June to giggle.
“Well, I’ll see all of you tomorrow,” said Julie. “It was nice meeting you girls,” said June. “Same here,” said Stephanie. They all shared a group hug and parted ways.
“Are you excited for tomorrow?” asked June. Julie smiled and blushed a little. “....Yes,” she said quietly as she looked up at the stars.
As you can see, I introduced three new characters of mine: Stephanie the Hedgehog, Rachel the Fox, and Cassie the Cat. I'll draw them as soon as I can.
