I felt bad, even though the good part was I wasn't there (even though this journal's been around nearly 2 years) I felt bad for Japan. They had another one that struck offshore in Miyagi Prefecture on December 7, 2012, but not deadly, which was the lowest tsunami wave, which did strike the same area the hit 2011.03.11 14:46, and the magnitude on the December 7 was 7.3 (this one struck at 2012.12.07 17:18, I heard that one was an 8.9 (US Networks), 8.8 (US, CNN), 9.0 (Wikipedia). A few months after the March 2011 one, there were prolly many aftershocks. The December 7, 2012 one wasn't widespread (I heard about it) + have a safe time there in Japan ;D
There were Tsunami Warning damages in US, too (CA, HI, OR).
Even though I'm not there, several Pokemon Centres were closed by the March 11 one, also, all of those know the coverages were in NHK, TV Tokyo, TV Asahi, all that in Japan.
Repeat, I feel definitely bad for those who died in March 11, 2011. The December 7, 2012 one only had 2 killed, which caused 14 injuries there. (those struck the same area mentioned above low tsunami wave on 2012.12.07 and very high tsunami wave on 2011.03.11, 2011.03.12, etc.)
