Let me state right now for any artists: No, you do not need my special permission to do art of my characters.
Generally I'm just thrilled to have someone like one of my characters enough to do art for them.
Now, because some people are jerks and might be tempted to take that as a challenge, let me add the following stipulations:
1) I am unlikely to willingly attach any of my characters to a real world cause other than perhaps a charitable organization, so art suggesting political leanings, stances on hot-button topics, etc. should be doublechecked for my approval before beginning work.
2) F/solo, F/F, and when I'm in the rare mood, F/Herm are the only things that interest me, so anyone wanting a picture of one of my characters getting intimate with a guy...yeah, that's probably not a pic I'd want done.
3) Anything that specifically portrays one of my characters in a bad light (stupid, ignorant, cruel, etc.) is probably not something I'd want done for obvious reasons. A special exception to that would be:
4) BDSM is yum and definitely 100% okay! Yes, even really rough stuff. As long as it stops short of guro, I'm probably going to like it.
5) Certain other unusual fetishes though...please no bathroom games for instance. I'm not into the diaper thing, but a clean diaper on one of my characters wouldn't bother me. Messy ones though...kind of a turn off, so please no.
That's all I can think of at the moment. I try to be cool about these things. I'm more likely to just ask you not to identify a character as belonging to me if I really dislike something. I try to be respectful of an artist's hard work.
