I have hit pretty hard times the past few months, and am moving out of my not-so-safe apartment to rent a room in a house. Because of my precarious situation and things I need to settle out/get back on my feet with, I'll be going 'dark' for quite some time.
Meaning I won't be on the internet much, and will basically be on tentative hiatus.
My car totally died and needed to be scrapped, so I have little transportation, and will need to do most of my work from an at-home online service, which will take up a LOT of my time during this beginning blackout phase, until I get ahead of my bills/don't need to push so hard for hours.
BEFORE I MOVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS MONTH, I WILL BE DROPPING OFF ABOUT 80% OF MY CURRENT QUE, AS I HAVE BEEN WORKING TO GET EVERYONES WORK DONE AND DO ONE MASSIVE DROPOFF.
This is different to my original plan, to do 'batch' dropoffs of about nine or so commissions at once, every week. I appreciate your patience, but I'm just going to blow out as MUCH of the que as possible before I black out, and anyone whose work does not get done before then, I will contact personally.
I appreciate ya'lls patience with this, as I let a few things get to me artistically that has caused these massive holdups. I had an issue with being rushed/pressured on a few projects, and it made me try and speed through the que, and I realized 'holy shit, these all look halfassed and shitty', and redoing them all to be top quality has taken up a lot of time, and I apologize for not being more transparent on that matter with all of you.
I would like to reiterate, whenever a commissioner needs me, I will ALWAYS check my email (momochi.draws@ymail.com), or my InkBunny (heml0cke) inbox FIRST. If you contact me via Tumblr, it will probably be lost, so I implore you to contact me via those two methods first.
That being said, the mass dropoff should come around the 18th-20th, and then I'll be going dark, and only occasionally checking into the internet, checking in only with clients whose work I have not yet completed by that time!
When I finish my semi-hiatus and all que dropoffs, I'll resume work on all my comics/side projects, as well as PPM, and come back much better/more organized because things won't be so hectic and up in the air!
