A close one, sort of.

Fixed my computer, well sorta...it won't hold out long. Thanks to no one for helping me (not sarcasm, literally no one helped but thats ok! ^w^ )

School is in 22 days....COLLEGE...This is serious...I still need help getting a MAC for school...please, if you guys could help, that would be great. I need a new computer anyways, please!

I don't have any money. But I'm hoping you get the computer you need...if you haven't looked on Newegg.com, you should. They can take that $1000 expense and turn it into $200-300 for new parts, and then it's just a matter of placing them in the housing you've got. Hells, depending on what the Mac's specs are, you can get better ones in your machine for less.

Coincidentally, I've used them to fix my computer more than once. What's the problem? Maybe I can help. :)

It's ok, I'm getting a loan. But anyways, my laptop screen hinges are broken (and everything surrounding it), the speakers don't work anymore and the internal and external charger connectors are broken.

My laptop case took a beating in the display department. If you can find a scrap computer of the same type on eBay, you could salvage the hard drive and stick it in the new computer...that's what my friend did. He basically took the entire shell, messed around with it and repaired what he needed to.

Hinges are loose, but it's an ok job. :) Although my battery doesn't work at all >.<
