Okay, so.. [updates tl;dr]

I'd like to apologize to those people who have commissions from me. A lingering health problem has kept me from drawing. (But I'm okay now.) My heart was a little funny there for a while. Still kind of is, but the Doctors told me it's probably Acid Reflux. They prescribed me some shit that I can't afford so either way I'm dealing with that.

To the people that have commissions coming from me, I will try to get them done this weekend and post them on Monday. I want to thank you for your patience.

As for all you other blokes who favorite my work and watch my account.

I want to say Thank you! I know I can't get to everyone's page and say "Thanks for the fav!" or "Thanks for watching!"

So I'll do it here. ;D

You all are the reason I keep drawing. Seeing everyone happy with my work, and feeling appreciated is really helping me with my art, forcing me to improve. To be a better artist. It's like a drug. lol

Also; I think I'll work on my next Chapter of Humans in Equestria, so keep an eye out for that.

I just got stuck on the story, is all; making a comic is more difficult than writing a story or drawing a single image. It has to flow and feel smooth.

And for you Americans out there, Happy write a letter to Britain Day.

~Love and Peace

PS: I'm thinking about doing free sketch Fridays. If I do, I'll post a journal about it next weekend. So not yet, guys. XD

That's okay.  I can wait.  I know you haven't forgotten about mine and to be honest, I didn't really want to part with the second half of my fee last week since I didn't get paid then.  So it's a good thing you didn't draw the sketch then. ;^_^  Also, you've been keeping me so posted about all the bad shit that's currently happening in your life that if I were any more posted, I'd be stuck to the wall.  So I know you're in a whole mess of trouble right now.  It's OK man.  It happens.  Take all the time you need to finish my pic; I'll be sitting right here entertaining myself with old Tiny Toon Adventures reruns and Dynasty Warriors games.  That is, when I'm not working, of course.

No worries, mate. I'll get the commission done and you can finish payment when you have it.

Mint and ginger. Cheap alternatives for stomach and acid related issues that can help, even if they don't cure. Was developing ulcers and they were observing me for reflux issues toward the end of my time in the military. Started eating and drinking more stuff with mint and ginger more and managed to reduce my stress, eventually. Last few times they've looked hard enough they said I was fine.

My mother also suggested ginger. They sell it in candy that you can chew coated in sugar. Didn't know about the mint, though.

I've been taking over the counter ant-acid tablets. They help with the symptoms, but I fear it's not a long term solution.

Yeah, and relying on them too much can train your body to adjust to a different acid levels in your gut. It's why some people need stronger and stronger stomach meds over time, or have trouble digesting food after taking the meds and eating together. Had trouble with antacids for a long time in that way. I use the stuff only when it's at it's worst and, most of the time, go to drinks like mintwater or ginger ale/beer and snacks like crystallized ginger or chews or anything from altoids to mint leaves on that side. I also avoid anything with too much oil of about any variety until things calm down. Sadly, that means I must avoid a lot of peanut products when my belly acts up. Why must you be so good, yet so cruel peanut butter!? WHY!?!?

For mint you want to avoid certain confectioneries and aim for the real mint products. I've also found that mint or ginger flavored xyletol chips are not just good for teeth, but can help your belly a little if you get them in you fast enough and aren't doing a Mexican food night or something. Also, as an extra tip, I've found that veggies like cucumbers and carrots in the raw can help calm acid levels down a bit without the antacid fallout.

That's good to know, friendo.

I have gout, so I have to stay away from most of that shit, anyways. (Especially legume's like peanuts. Sigh)

So my acid levels are all wonky regardless of what I eat. .-.

Glad to see you are back and hope things will improve for you. I recall chatting with you about a commission, still interested in talking that out together with you if you are around again, but please take care and let yourself get feeling a bit better before worrying about us. Still, glad to have you with us.

I'm feeling a little better. Well enough to start drawing again, at least.

Just can't seem to shake off the rust and get back into it, though.

My art doesn't come out as well for some reason.
