, has been having trouble uploading ANY audio file from his computer to SoFurry. Prior to this week, he was having no trouble, and he says he has not installed anything new in weeks so that isn't the issue. Whenever he try to upload audio now, after choosing the audio file, the usual progress bar and counter beneath it are supposed to show up. In his case though, the progress bar stays blank, and underneath it, which is supposed to show the progress of the upload reads 'NaN bytes /' Neither of us have no idea why. He has tried this with both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Same result both times.
When he uses a different computer, there is no problem uploading audio files to SoFurry. When he uploads the same audio files to another site, such as Weasyl, FurAffinity, or Inkbunny, there is no problem. When he uploads regular artwork to SoFurry, there is no problem.
The problem is specifically:
1) His computer
2) SoFurry
3) audio files
He put in a support ticket on the issue several days ago but has received no response as yet. Until he is able to determine how SoFurry uploads audio files he has to rely on me to do it for him, which is a bit of a breach of security, a real pain for me, but what choice does he have?
Any help you can give us on this would be welcome.
Um, off the top of my head, does sound like a problem with his computer. If multiple browsers are doing the same thing, I would bet it's Java they have in common. Might wanna try reinstalling Java.

Windows 8, no patches that I know of. Browsers are Firefox and Internet Explorer. Do not know which versions. Plenty of files have been downloaded to his computer, but as far as I know, only from friends, and only mp3, wav, txt, and doc files.
I assume he has his virus scan to be constant, but I'll check.

Might possibly be the windows 8 or the bandwidth. Window 8 still has a few bugs in it. if that's not the case, the computer might not be getting enough bandwidth to upload the file on his computer. did he try resetting the router?
