Sonic Lost World puts Sonic up to the challenge as he faces his most powerful enemy to date – and this time there are six of them to conquer! Sonic Lost World will be available exclusively for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platforms later this year.
Dr. Eggman has harnessed the power of six menacing creatures collectively known as the Deadly Six, but when the Deadly Six rise up against their master, Sonic has to unite with his arch nemesis in order to take on the new enemies head-on. Using his dynamic new parkour moves and improved Color Powers, Sonic must run, jump and race through a variety of ever-changing terrains in order to defeat the Deadly Six.
Alongside a single player adventure, the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Sonic Lost World will feature a range of competitive multiplayer modes. In addition, each platform will also contain distinctive features that take advantage of the consoles' unique capabilities. Exclusive Wii U Color Powers can be controlled with the Wii U GamePad by tilting, touching, aiming and more. The full game can also be played using only the GamePad screen and will feature a two player support mode. Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo 3DS is the first handheld Sonic game ever to feature fully realized 3D levels which include exclusive Special Stages and Color Powers unique to Nintendo 3DS.

Umm... WHAT? Sonic and Dr. Eggman has joined forces before, besides why's Sonic attacking the badniks if he's joined forces with the good ol' doctor? and more importantly why are they friends all of a sudden? Well I guess this means that the game MIGHT have a better story than Colors... Then again we were told that Tails will turn against Sonic in Colors and look what happened, speaking of which I hope to see Orbot and Cubot again, and whatever happened to Dr Eggman after being in a limbo?
We're getting multiplayer, that's good but does this mean we can play as Tails in 2P mode or a recolored Sonic like in Colors? Anyway I hope online gameplay is included.

Special stages in the 3DS version? That's good so I'm getting the 3DS version then even if it turns out bad, I just love special stages (except for Sonic 1 and Sonic 4 Episode 1 :p)
Exclusives is a good thing but motion controls suck, aside from Sonic Generations HD and Sonic Colors (if you use a GC controller) I can't remember the last time they released a Sonic game that DIDN'T have motion controls!

I like how they decided to use the idea from Super Mario Galaxy, that's pretty cool! So if I somehow end up getting the game eventually, I'll think about that game cause of the similar gameplay ^^

Not just the gameplay even textures were found in Sonic Xtreme been used in this game and one of the plots of Xtreme is very similar, at first I too thought it's a coincidence because of the similar gameplay but now I think SEGA are pulling another Sonic Heroes on us (remember Sonic Heroes had a lot of homage to Knuckles Chatox like the return of the Chaotix, the partnership gameplay, Metal Overlord at the end turns into a dragon, even the power of "chaos" and the special stages had some homage to that game" this seems the same case here, I won't be surprised if Tiara made a cameo appearance somehow in the game :p
