Hop

by
Saw Hop at the movies today. Cute film, very kid-friendly. There's very few jokes for the adults in this one. It's a simple plot, one you've seen a thousand times before, but it's not bad for a children's film.

My big disappointment was that the girl bunnies (the Pink Berets) didn't even get a single line. This really was a Boys' Movie, with lots of father-son issues, loud music and poop jokes. Not really much for a young girl to enjoy other than the cute bunnies.

That said, the animation was superb. They did a fantastic job with the main character, and interacting with real actors has come a long way since Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Although the human actors weren't really all that interesting.

As something for adult furries, I'd say wait to rent it unless you can catch a matinee showing. It's cute, but not full-price cute.
