DISCLAIMER: I always have internal conflicts over these posts, and probably for silly reasons, but people have asked for this type of info in the past, so I thought I'd share it. Also if I owe you return gifts still (I know I do to some of you), then you especially don't need to do anything. This list is also not also not meant as a representation of my expectations--there's lots of stuff that I have my eye on, but that in no way means I expect to get all of it, or even a fraction of it, any time soon. Most of these lists I only made to keep track of things for myself! This especially applies to the Amazon lists. There's no way on Earth I'm expecting or even wanting anyone to grab the larger items for me! I feel bad legitimately asking people for anything worth $20 when they already owe me.
Hey everyone! It's that time of year again, I guess.. It's almost my birthday! On the 21st I'll be turning 28 RL (I still feel younger at heart XD), and I just wanted to give a heads up! My parents will actually be coming to visit around my birthday, and I'll be out of town from the 22nd until the 25th or so, so hopefully that should be fun!
Honestly, I really am happy with birthday wishes (and maybe hugs?) from people, and tend to worry that I'll seem like I'm just fishing for gifts, but if you really do want to do something, here are a few ideas:
Amazon Wishlists: Default List Retro Game Tech Retro Games Admittedly, all three are generally used for my own benefit to remind myself what I'd like to get in the future, but they come in handy for times like these, I guess XD Also, if any of you have any suggestions of games or hardware to add to those retro games lists, feel free to let me know! It's mostly stuff I want to collect over time, anyhow.
Steam Wishlist I know I have a fairly large Steam game collection, and I'll admit I don't play PC games as often as I should (I need a good laptop or better PC placement to feel more willing to play, I suppose!), but this is a simple option should you want to gift something. I generally keep this updated so that Steam'll let me know when stuff I wanna get is on sale, anyway XD
Hulu Plus Subscription I've really enjoyed Hulu Plus for a while! It lets you stream lots of different shows and movies--including subbed anime and other things--on your TV or other devices, which I've been using for various shows. Crunchyroll Subscription I've only really gotten to sample this service so far, but since I have an HDTV it'd really make the larger anime selection pop! I'm not that interested in the drama side of things, so if you were to do this, I'd say do the anime subscription only, which saves some money, and my username's JordanRinehart there
I'm up for lots of situations, and lots of different types of art! But, considering my birthday's fairly soon, this might not be the easiest way to give a gift. But who knows!
