TMI Tuesday - Claire Summers

We've reached the final member of my original foursome, Ms. Claire Elizabeth Summers. Age: 16, f, American Red Squirrel, newly promoted captain of the volleyball team, and Ethan's long-time crush and true love. She's pretty social and outgoing, so I think she'd be willing to answer anything you guys throw at her. Questions that may lead to spoilers, of course, will be deflected, and Shyara is still a sore subject.

Claire. Ethan, really? I know love is an unpredictable thing, but do you really think this relationship is worth it, in the long run?

Why not Ethan? His leg? That's partly my fault. In fact, a lot of what went wrong for him was my fault. If I had just accepted his request to date without any crazy stipulations, so many people wouldn't have gotten hurt. I'm sorry, I just really wanted a baby, since I can't have one of my own. But I lost my best friend in the process, and hurt so many other people, too. Honestly, after everything that happened, I'm surprised Ethan still wanted me. Yeah, love's unpredictable, but not in the way you seem to be implying.

Well, Chris, that's a kind of sad story that Steel never really got around to explaining. When I was younger, I had leukemia. As a result of the radiation treatments, I've been told that my odds of being able to conceive are slim to none.

My favorite food is pecan pie, but I only eat it to spoil myself. I need to stay in shape for volleyball.

I don't really have a favorite color, but I wear a lot of red.

Is there anything else you'd like to know?

Okay so they said it was a slim to none so it is possible but just unlikely .

What is your favorite subject in school?

If you had to play DND what type of character would you be?

Did you ever notice Ethan before they'll have it talk on the roof?

I suppose you're right, it doesn't mean I can't get pregnant. I'll try to stay cautiously optimistic. Thank you.

If I played D&D, I'd probably be a cleric/healer type of character.

I had seen Ethan around before that day on the roof, but he had never really stood out. Knowing him, he didn't want to stand out. He definitely didn't mean for me to spot him that afternoon! He was so embarrassed, it was adorable.

I don't blame Ross for being "bitchy". She was getting used to being sent away by her mom and adapting to life in a new city at a new school without any friends. Thankfully, Megan seems to be helping bring her out of her shell some. She and I aren't really friends yet, but I think that we could be. She and Ethan seem to be on the same level, though.

Unfortunately, my plan for a +1 didn't work out as I hoped. Shyara plans on raising the baby herself, with Ethan having her during summer months and alternating holidays. I think that if Ethan and I last, we might look into adopting. How many is anyone's guess.

I seem to have a knack for asking questions in a way that only gets me the answer I was trying to avoid bringing up. Blasto, why did you have to bring up a sore spot like that. Again. :|
