Now that Weasyl is open to the general public, I've been fooling around with it. So far, I like its setup and I'll probably be uploading my stuff there from now on. It has nothing to do with my wonderful followers here, but more to do with Inkbunny's many flaws. Inkbunny doesn't have a forum area, so I can't advertise for commissioners effectively. I'm not too keen on the "popular art" thing as it seems like it's turning art into a popularity contest and people just browse that section rather than "Latest."
The filtering system here isn't great- either the system itself sucks at filtering or people here don't know how to actually tag their pieces appropriately. This site seems to be mostly used for cub art, which I despise and I can't seem to keep it from popping up. I don't really want to be associated with a site that allows it- despite what "free speech" proponents claim, we are still a society that follows the heard and "guilty by association" is still an accepted way of condemning someone.
I will be cross posting my journals here for a while and I'm not going to be pulling down my work just yet. But, for future updates please follow me on Weasyl and Tumblr
