Product Warning: Critical Systems M4 SSD.

I thought I was alone in this but apparently I'm not.

Back in December I bought a little XMas present for myself: a 64GB Solid State SATA Drive by Critical Systems. It was under $70. Its: http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=ct...

I put it in a SATA/USB Enclosure so that I can take it from machine to machine at home and swap files. It died on Saturday, looking as if it was never partitioned or formatted. DAMN IT ALL!

But scouring the internet, I have checked out various forums and found that I am not alone.
http://www.avsforum.com/t/1385148/fatal-error-problem-...

Thing is, what they are describing, and what I go might be two different things. They say this failure happens about 5100 hours of use. Mine only had less then 1000. In fact its about 700 hours of use. And it was full (64GB worth!!!) of various projects and files I was doing to make $$ from!

I'm trying to find my old receipt for this thing and am sending it back to them to repair and retrieve my files. It does have a 3 year warrantee. But if they cant recover my files, I will be demanding loss of work and wages plus a refund and a few other things or I will take their name and drag it through the internet mud... GGRRRRR!!!! They Will Feel My Squirrelly Wrath!

On another note, that really does suck. Happened once I lost a bunch of work, though it was cause of my fault as I left my Flash drive in my pants when it went out to laundry.
