because not everyone can afford 1000$ for a 12 inch wacom cintiq.

pricing:
HP tc4400- base price - $200 t5600 dual core 1833mhz upgrade - $25 (it's worth it. if you plan on running photoshop CS5 you'll probably need it)
second battery attaches to the underside of the unit for extended battery life - $20 (not all of them got new primary batteries, so.. TRUST ME, GET THIS O_O)
laptop bag (i'll be honest, they're used laptop bags, but they're in decent shape and fit the tablet nicely) - $20
(customer pays shipping, this can vary based on location.)
my notes on this system: i use it with 2GB ram, windows XP tablet edition, and a t7200 processor. it handles adobe photoshop CS5 under these conditions. the 3d-acceleration is pretty junk, but being a graphic design tablet, it is pretty good with 2d acceleration. if you plan on using this for only drawing, it's just fine. its not meant for gaming, but it can handle some games okay. it loves the project64 n64 emulator. it will run second life but not very well.
bottom line: its like a wacom cintiq and a laptop combined, for about 1/4 the price of a new cintiq.
Soooo about 250 + shipping for one of these? Hmm...you certainly have my attention. I think I'll even invest in getting one of these, though still, 250 is a lot to come up with on short notice. How long will these be on sell? Moreover, is there any sort of insurance that we could get for them?

we have a large amount of them. i expect these will be available for at least a few months. we offer a 30 day warranty, but that's difficult to work with on shipped orders. i do believe we offer extended warranties.

Posting this here just in case you check IB before FA: I'm totally interested! I want to replace my old laptop, which has a dying battery, and getting a refurbished tablet would get me a more fun laptop for not too much more than the cost of replacing my old lappy's battery! If you can give me information about how to place an order, that'd be really appreciated!
