I feel I should stick my nose into this, hehe.
[iconname]Scheknul[/iconname] recently posted a journal offering peace to people he's apparently been an ass to in he past. Well, my first interaction with him wasn't a pleasant one, I must say, but believe me when I say that when he says he wants to make peace, he means it. So if anyone here's had a problem with him in the past, consider this my nudge to go talk to him about it. Let's kill some drama. ^_^

Well he only listed certain people that he wishes to make amends with. So that tells me that he only wants certain people and not everyone.

There seems to be a bigger list than that.

I'm guessing he wants certain people to know he's actively reaching out to them, but I don't think it means he wants to make peace with JUST those people listed. It's worth talking to him, list or no.

Good luck to him. Always impressed when people try to improve themselves and rebuild bridges.
Seen people fail after a few days far too many times to hold my breath, but still impressed that they try.

I don't know... people never change... really...
atleast in my case it was due to the misinterpretation of british sarcasm and misunderstanding, but for him it's just been pure venom and ignorance...
I don't really like the way he talks about things, and even in his little journal he still sounds like he's all up on his high horse... not a fan, but then again, this way im thinking is pretty judgemental in itself. But that's all i can do in a case like this one.

My first encounter with him wasn't pleasant either, but he's been nothing but sweet since. I believe he's sincere, and I think it's certainly worth it to ease the tension if at all possible, and wherever possible. Drama is cheap in the fandom. Could do with a bit of cleanup so it doesn't pile up too big.

there are certain people i know i wont get on with and are not interested to.
and the fact that he says starting off he gave over 700 people the same message...
i mean... if he has that many people on his list yet still has to make ammends to so many others, then... idk what he thinks he's doing...

Well I won't force you to do anything, (unless you want me to ^_-) but I do think you might be reading too much into things like that. I mean there really is no perfect way to go about it.

In short. your opinion is actually subjective. People can change, just not all of them. That mindset just basically says you cant trust him and never will no matter how much he will change.

o.o that's a bit of a cynical viewpoint, I gotta say. No offense. I'm not much of an optimist myself, particularly when it comes to the human race. If a thief learns that stealing is bad, and doesn't ever steal again, that's not a change?

Everyone makes mistakes in their lives...very few people are actually man enough to admit to them...let alone, attempt to correct them....takes a level of integrity that most folks these days dont have.
hell...just last year after losing my mate of 5 years i was so emo and crazy that i alienated a lot of my friends...so i can kinda relate...i wish him the best of luck and hope those people are way more forgiving than the people i alienated.
