Numb3r$ - Pricing Changes

I've increased the base price for Prints by 10%.

The Fee for Digital Sales has also gone up by 10%.

There will not be any other changes to the pricing of sales items before launch. I expect the fees to drop after launch as the customer base grows and we get more sales.

I want to charge as little as possible. It's better business in our little market!

I ran some numbers and estimated that we'd be running at a massive loss for the first few months if we don't start with a higher rate. We can then drop it as there are more sales per month. At 10% there was no room to move, or to offer special sales, etc which encourage customers to buy your work. I don't want to be begging (too much) for donations to keep the site alive in our first months!

What this change means for existing items:

  Digital Sales maintain their current Retail Price. Your customers see the same price that you already set. But you get 10% less per sale than what you saw when you edited the setting last. To get the same profit back, increase the Retail price by clicking "Sales File & Settings" on your submission page and going to the Digital Sales section.

  Prints will be 10% more expensive for your customers (Retail price goes up by 10%) but you make the same profit per sale that you saw when you edited the setting last. To give your customers the same retail price you had before, decrease your Profit Margin by clicking "Sales File & Settings" on your submission page and going to the Prints section.

Sorry for the inconvenience! I don't want to live on Ramen. ;.;

I really hope people understand. I think 10% isn't too much to ask.
