Just curious~ (artist question)

I know FA is down and all. Since I have virtually no watchers here and I doubt anyones going to read or even reply to this.

What should I work on as an artist?

My art is decent, I know.
But I would like to further improve it.

(On a side note I have some stuff to post when I get my scanner working.)

Hmmm, let me think.  Your art is very good, so I'm not sure.  Maybe work on incorporating simple backgrounds into your art.  I'm trying my best to do very simplistic backgrounds for the time being, getting a bit more daring and complex with them each time I draw.

Practice seeing in 3D.  Even if you can do it well innately, take some time to actually look at objects and people and sense how they exist in the three-dimensional plane.

Poses, quick-sketch stick figures of what people around you are doing.  Go out in public and try to mark down poses of all kinds of the people you see around you.

When creating your own art, make use of the line of action.  It's an invisible line that helps aid you in your envisioning of a pose.

I hope this helps you out some. *hugs*

lol yeah I need to practice backgrounds digitally. Im not to good at them.

However traditionally I got it down mostly (having taken many art classes in my time, etc.)

I guess mostly I should be working on digital art.
