My best ideas for pictures typically occur on days when I can sleep in. I'm lying in bed after waking up and in that twilight between wakefulness and dreaming, i come up with most of my creative or funny pics. Much of the Crossing of the Universes was written this way, over the summer when I could sleep in.
Other times however I lie in bed and come up with ideas that seem good at the time and I realize they are gross or ridiculous or not as creative as they originally seemed, once I am fully wakeful. This is probably due to morning wood, that nearly anything seems sexually appealing, and I think hey I can draw that. Let's draw Sonic doing ball torture to Knuckles. Let's draw a comic about Tails helping Sonic to "relax" when he is in the field fighting Robotnik. Let's draw Knuckles sitting on Sonic's face while playing a gameboy. They are just meh ideas.
Then I get really unusual ideas I either haven't gotten around to or are especially strange. Let's draw Pinkie Pie hoping around in Knuckles' ass with her hooves (fun!)! Let's draw Gwonam from The Faces of Evil fucking Scootaloo saying "Scootaloo, we're off!" Let's draw Pinkie Pie getting arrested after trying to seduce underaged Spike, who pulls off his face as a mask to reveal he was Chris Hansen the whole time.
Just this morning in bed I came up with an idea for two Christmas themed pics, one involving Sonic characters, and one involving ponies. The pony one is actually a 1 page comic. We'll see if I have time to do one or either.
I have a few ideas for a second pony comic series I certainly do not have time for right now, the title being simply "Kinkie Pie."
I'm also very close to 600 inkbunny watchers and should make a pic for that. Maybe I'll alter one of the Christmas pics into this one.
