wow, sorry to hear...I went through something similar. 4/10 my grandfather died, 8/10 my grandmother's sister died, so after losing her husband and her sister, the unveiling of the headstone (6/11), their flight got cancelled, so only my father and I were there, and my father isn't even related to any of them. Then a year after the failed unveiling, almost to the day, my grandmother died (6/12). if that wasn't bad enough, their son (my uncle) is only concerned about inheritance, not anything else. he wasn't at either of his parents' funeral...but I'm starting to rant. mine is old news.
I hope you feel better about it soon, love them always, and hold dear what little time you have left. Time moves on, no matter who you are.
