I saw this video from Hank Green of the Vlogbrothers in which he talks about the fear of creation, and offers some really thought provoking stuff on the subject. (Don't worry, it's only 4min -- Lazy people, you have NO EXCUSE not to watch it! =P)
Hank goes into detail about how we are ALL creative beings, because even if you never pick up a pen to draw a picture, or write a story, you are constantly in the process of creating your SELF. Everybody has one of these, you only get to make one of them, you aren't born with it, and it is always a work in progress.
And because the act of revealing creations to others is always incredibly terrifying -- we are ALL scared. In the act of revealing our art, our stories, or the most precious creation we as human beings have, our SELVES, we become terrified. And to be fair, it IS terrifying. However, Hank offers some very wise words of wisdom to conquer this fear. Whether its to help you with your art, or help you with your stuttering speaking voice when talking to strangers.
I just thought it would be something interesting to share with some of my watchers, seeing as this is a website of VERY creatively-oriented people =)
