That's a shame. Up until I was about 5 or so, there was an open policy on nudity in my house. Especially during hot summer days, my little sister and I would be in the back garden with no clothes on, and during bath time you can always expect to see even the parents with no clothes on. When you're raised around casual, non-chalant nudity, it doesn't become something naughty or shameful.
Even at boarding school when I was 7, when waiting for a shower or getting changed for swimming, lots of students would be standing around nude, and the strange thing... I remember having no clothes on, but I didn't feel exposed, if that makes sense. Of course, later on at a different school which was much more bureaucratic, nudity was seen as "inappropriate".
