E6 being E6 am I right?...

Yo, dude who uploaded my stuff on E6, if you're reading this - thanx, really.

I don't know what was the real reason behind the deletion of my Bugs movie, I guess Mairo thought like "OG is 720p, upload is 1280p", hence paysite content... but the truth is there's no version larger than 1080x1080 in existance, lmfao

So I assume you just upscaled the file and send it. Like yeah, I get it, stupid rules but rules nonetheless. But they're essentially forcing participants to transcode OG files into E6 specs, cuz all artists simply export files with default options from their preferable software, and fuck me if I know what the hell "YUV420 8bit" means. My default is H264, why E6 consider it broken/corrupted? Gods only knows. Every site I throw my files at, eats it with ease, except E6, E6 is special. It proved me that on multiple occasions, that's why I just can't find energy to deal with it and just hope that there will be a fella, stubborn enough to deal with this bullshit every time.

So, in the end I guess if you want that Bugs movie to exist on E6 it should be 720p. I guess...

E6 never anticipated accepting MP4 files despite them being one of the easiest files to host, and the problem with accepting MP4 files spread to any other non-webm and non-gif animated file type.

Add to it that e6 wants to host only the "biggest" file and you get lots of headaches if the file isn't up to the desired aspect of the staff.

I found the best thing to do is that in regards to animated non-webm files, talk to a mod and tell them you want to upload your file but have no method of conversion and then inform them of the correct size of the dimensions of the animation. Hopefully you'll get someone who wants to help.

Afaik E6 accept MP4 now ( https://e621.net/wiki_pages/26651 ), it's only the codecs what needed correction, which is still defeating the purpose, because uploaders still need to recode the OG files. And this situation is makes my head spin, like "we want the OG files in best quality, no, we won't accept THE OG files".

I won't stop you, but I don't want to ask you directly either, because it's labor and a headache, and I'm not entitled to your labor.

One day, when I don't have anything better to do, I'll do it. I know how to use HandBrake, it's mainly the hassle and anticipations of mods being like "you should do 3 backflips instead of 2 and not enough buptudoot in googliboog" what stops me do it regularly.
