This is mostly ranting and I expect nothing of it.
I've been watching and now it seems technical innovation is dead...I wanna say it's a pause or people are adjusting. But truth is now any new innovation is looked through the lense of how the bad people plan to use it instead of how it can help others. And at the end of the day, the bad people will do the bad things. But the good people will do the good things as well. Ai is for entertainment and assisting those who can't quite on their own. Whether through time or disability. Theft was a real thing sure. But who has t used limewire or downloaded a rom atleast once. Youre saying you've never used someone else's age as a character reference. Now there's a tech that allows easy character creation through description and patience.
They're introducing digital price stickers, which could be used to make the store clerks job easier. But no we're scared of them implementing dynamic pricing. "Games are going completely digital. You cantown your game. " And we haven't been able to buy a physical copy for almost a decade now and any still remaining are at best ancient artifacts worth an arm or leg. They try to use ai to improve how tech is built by obtaining alot of ram. Likely to help it learn faster. And we're scared that a decide that was already an expensive piece of equipment is now more expensive. We're also complaining gpu has been a dying act. We've long since passed the point where graphics are real enough your TV looks like a goddamn window. You can watch lion King and realize how well drawn the characters are.
To be short. The bad people will do the bad thing. If you wanna be the good person
Do the good thing and encourage others around you to do the same
Then maybe we can have hope as a society.
