While I would agree with you. It is their characters to do what they want with. I have some that have sat around waiting for me to do something with. They have stories in my head waiting to get out, but I have just not done it yet, or art that I am waiting for specific artists for. They are not your characters my friend, they belong to others and are at the whim of the owners. Even if it stinks that they sit on the back burner for a while.
