Please update Subscribestar payment information

by
Hi! It looks like there's be a data loss on Subscirbestar's part and it lost a lot of payment information from supporters and wihthout that it can't process the next month's payment.

If you've been considering supporting me, it's a great time to start, because it seems that this month, I'll only get about 30% of substar payments and I use that to cover rent, food and kids school. You can subscribe here https://subscribestar.adult/ratcha
Thank you <3

This is their most recent notice about the issue, they claim most recurring payments will be maintained. Still no official notice about the rules changes they made a week ago though. The admins aren't doing a very good job communicating with the Stars or their fans right now.

Yeah, the lack of anything about the policy change, even so much as an announcement to find in notifications, is kind of... concerning, honestly. You don't stealth-drop a policy change.

No more fetish content, even if it's anthropomorphic. No cub, rape, incest, bestiality or any content they determine to be offensive by their standards, which aren't clearly defined. They introduced the ability to manipulate the rules as they see-fit spontaneously, without warning or warrant. They basically are going the same route a Patreon. This is the part of their Terms of Service where they say they have the right to change the rules at its sole discretion, which means they aren't following legal advice or law, they are just coming up with their rules on-the-fly. They don't tell you when you're violating the rules, they will just pause the ability to upload images to your channel, then you will have to bother the admins to see why your channel was flagged. It happened to our channel, we had to purge our gallery in order to get the ability to upload back.

"The Platform reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, moderate, approve, reject, remove, or restrict any content to ensure compliance with applicable laws, payment processor requirements, community guidelines, and these Terms and Conditions.

Submission of content does not guarantee publication. Users acknowledge and agree that the Platform may delay, condition, or deny the availability of any content pending successful completion of the pre-screening process."

We created a FanBox account to post the totally legal, fictional, anthropomorphic illustrations instead. FanBox makes us censor the images, but after a short paid-preview period, we upload the files publicly on galleries that don't censor the content. We will still try to use SubscribeStar for the time being too, but assuming they might change the rules and force us out, we are preparing to start our own server now, you can read my latest journal post for more information.

Okay, I see!
Yeah, I've noticed these changes in Subscribestar's tos a couple of months ago, these are not new. For the last month, each time I uploaded a post, it went through approval process by substar, this may be the case why.

I guess now im not only need to worry that an artist might be dead thats why they wont post but also that they might been shadowbanned and are now arguing with the mods on what they exactly dislike about the content.

Seems to be an issue on art sites like FA lately too, banning people all over the place for really petty reasons :/ a lot of sites lately seem to be on a power trip or something
