Thought to post an update since it's been a while. :) I hope everyone is doing fine.
-I've decided to post fullhd version publicly from now on since playing around with 720 stuff in 2026 was a bit lame.
-Supporters on https://subscribestar.adult/grimm3d get 4k versions (with a few exceptions), wip updates, occasional polls about various things and of course animations are released immediately on completion. And there are still some wild tier animations/alt versions which likely won't be public.
-Public posts will be delayed up to a year or several months at least. Depends on when I find the time and motivation to post them. In some cases (such as this latest posting spree) the delay may be shorter on a few animations.
-I'm commissioning audio for some of my animations, approximately one per month depending on how the audio dude is available and if I have the budget for that.
But yeah, I'm not dead. I'm posting roughly weekly updates all year on SubscribeStar.
Oh and yeah, since this is now a thing here: All characters are made by me unless stated otherwise. HDR images from Polyhaven.com (CC0) Some environment models and textures from blenderkit.com (royalty free / CC0)

That's not my point, that was never my point, don't strawman me. I've told you why I stay away from Patreon and Subscribestar and it has nothing to do with the price, or the value of your work. If I didn't value your work I wouldn't be complaining about it to begin with, much less prodding you about it for years.

Not quite. Thing is there WAS a plan to release them early on. He changed his mind because he felt his subscribers would feel cheated, but then he held a vote with his subscribers who then said they had absolutely no problem with releasing them and WOULD STILL SUPPORT HIM, so it's not about the money either. Then he changed his mind again, saying that if he released extreme animations here, he'd lose followers. Looking at his latest animations that doesn't seem to be a concern any more, but still he won't release them. Can you blame me for being a little frustrated that he's gone back and forth on this for reasons that have now all been debunked?

Well, lets say that I was nice enough to consider it and decided against it. Besides I don't know what you think you're missing but it certainly isn't worth complaining about it for several years. I don't remember what was your reason to avoid subscribestar etc. but it is in the end your decision and you live with the consequences of that decision.

It's not so much a decision as a necessity. My opinion on subscription paywalls aside, I avoid even creating an account because if I open that door, I know my spending will get out of control with more and more subscriptions, and if I'd want to get it back under control, or lose my income, I'd have to remove them, one at a time. It's because they're so cheap that I'd be drawn in, but that also means there would be A LOT of subscriptions to manually have to cancel to get things back under control. I've seen people fall into this trap multiple times and I can't afford to be one of them. Now I'm not saying you're taking advantage of this deliberately, but that is why subscription services are popular among corporations. If you really must insist on paywalling these animations, then at least sell it somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.
