Paypal Scam!!

by
I accepted a commission to draw [iconname]Erling7894[/iconname] commission and it looked fishy to say the least...

He goes by Ramsay0297 on Discord

offered me 500 bucks as a so called reward and wont go to my paypal because some sort of mumbo jumbo.

Dont fall for this Scam... from now on i wont accept commissions if they are not paid first... Sketch greenlighting is now scratched from my commission conditions... :/

I wont recieve new commissions from kinda new members/users in here either...

I feel like there is a lot of people with bad intentions around at the moment, better keep it safe and only work with people who are somewhat known and established for now xwx

Same reason why I don't do work with out payment first I always ask prepay to do my work,

Here is a funny story:
I ones did a sketch for free cause he argued that he would not pay if he did not like the sketc, to see if he would like it to pay the full thing, did it send it and the guy blocked me, taking my sketch with him and even try to publish it here as his own work, but I was smarter! the bumbass forgot to check for water marks :3 so picture this, its a PNG file it looks white with black lines on it but if you open it in the right way now its black lines over a black background as its transparent but now you can read and look at the full in white letters of WIP water mark plastered across side to side in big cap letters saying Art by: thecooler.  Work in progress! and even a link written under those to my IB gallery, so in resume he took it down was splattered on the comentes and shouts he was a scumbag, then studently like the one you show here his name and profile is no longer to be found.

Hope it learn it lesson or provably is out there trying to scam other people, but knowing this people rarely change he is provably wanking himself to AI slop daily by now.

I'm not defending the scammer in any way. However, because of the whole Honey scandal, I can completely understand the decision to not want to interact with PayPal in anyway. If they were doing things like that with Honey, imagine what they're doing with their other services.

I'm sorry that happened to you. This is why it's a good idea to ask for money up front.

This is why trust is broken and we can't have/share nice things. Because of those a-holes.

They tried to scam me by asking for my Discord server name. When I asked for it, they would send the information. When I said $30 USD was for the commission, they tried to offer $500 USD. Since I sent them my PayPal.me link, they said not to trust it, asked for the email address I sent, and took a fake screenshot showing they had supposedly sent me $500 USD. And don't even get me started on the email address they used to impersonate PayPal, with a Gmail address ending in .com and numbers.

After that, I stopped doing commissions through Discord, only through Inkbunny and FurAffinity. Payments are made through my PayPal.me link, which is much safer because scammers like this won't accept payments through PayPal.me. Their modus operandi is to ask for your email address to create fake screenshots
